Dairy Farm Manager – New Dairy Development & Operations

Caveside, Tasmania

We’re looking for a people‑focused Dairy Farm Manager to lead the team at Daleford, a newly purchased farm currently milking 650 cows and transitioning to a new 60‑bale rotary with herd growth to 1,000-1,100 cows.

This is a rare chance to be involved in the development phase and then lead the ongoing operations of a progressive, well‑supported dairy business.

What You’ll Do

• Work alongside the project manager to contribute to planning and development during the build phase

• Lead, mentor, and support a high‑performing team

• Oversee herd health, breeding, calving and milk quality

• Manage pasture, feed planning and paddock maintenance

• Maintain accurate records and coordinate supplies and service providers
