Andrew is a founding director of BWB Management and CFO across all farms, overseeing finance, strategy, and acquisitions. He also advises family farming businesses through Moore Australia, focusing on governance, succession, and business strategy. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Tasmania and is a member of the AICD. Outside work, he enjoys marathons, golf, travel and time with family.

John, a founding director of BWB, moved from New Zealand to Tasmania in 1989. With over 40 years in the dairy industry, he has held roles in dairy extension, consulting, farm management and development, including conversions. John has four adult children and enjoys trail running, bushwalking and community involvement through his church.

Rob is a founding director of BWB, with extensive experience in large-scale dairy, cropping, and livestock operations. He farms 2,650 ha with his wife Jo and runs a 1,350-cow dairy in partnership. Rob plays a key role in BWB’s investment strategy and governance and serves on several boards including Nuffield Australia and the Cressy Longford Irrigation Scheme. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Agricultural Commerce) and is an AICD graduate.

Executive Officer

Penny joined BWB in 2024, bringing experience in agribusiness banking, livestock management, consulting and feedlot operations. She supports reporting, budgeting, HR, and board communications while contributing to strategy and system improvement. A Marcus Oldham College Agribusiness graduate and 2026 Nuffield Scholar, Penny enjoys polocrosse, netball, running, and time with friends and family.

Executive Officer

Maddie joined BWB in 2020 after working in agronomy and extension roles in southwest Victoria. She manages farm development projects and supports farm managers to deliver operational goals. Maddie holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) and a Graduate Certificate in Agribusiness. She lives in northeast Tasmania with her partner and two children.

Clear Springs

Tim and Fiona have managed Clear Springs since 2015. Tim has over 30 years’ experience in dairying, while Fiona, an accountant turned dairy farmer, has 10. Fiona also serves on the Fonterra Australia Suppliers Council. They have six adult children and four grandchildren and enjoy caravanning, travel and family time.

Forester Lodge

Originally from Deloraine, James joined Forester Lodge in 2020 and has been key to its development. With 13 years in dairy and five in farm management, he brings strong leadership and practical know-how. James lives on-farm with his partner Kristy and his two young children and enjoys camping, fishing and travel.

Dalmore and Ruell Downs

Originally from India, Mahesh joined BWB in 2019 after postgraduate studies in dairy production. With six years in the industry and four in management, he leads Dalmore and Ruell Downs and recently took an equity stake in the business. Mahesh lives locally with his wife and two young children and enjoys family time and catching up with friends.

Blumont

Eagle has over 17 years in the dairy industry, including 16 in management and share farming. Originally from South Africa and then New Zealand, he joined BWB in 2024 as manager of Blumont. He and his wife Elize have worked together throughout their careers and have two adult children in New Zealand. Eagle enjoys travelling, sightseeing and movies.

Juniper Lea

Luke began farming in 2000 working in the dairy and livestock industries. He joined BWB in 2018 as 2IC at Dalmore, becoming farm manager at Juniper Lea in 2021. Under his leadership, milk production has increased 12% annually, with more than 1,000 cows milked. Luke lives locally with his wife and two children and enjoys hunting, fishing and family time.

Springfield

Jaydon joined BWB in 2023 after several years managing a tyre centre with Costco. Inspired by his wife Emily’s dairy career, he transitioned into farming and quickly progressed to manager at Springfield. He is now in discussions with BWB and Springfield’s owners about pathways to farm ownership. Jaydon and Emily live on-farm with their three children and enjoy hunting, motorbike riding and camping together.

Kooparoona

Kieran grew up on a Queensland dairy farm and has international experience across the USA and Canada. He moved to Tasmania in 2023, working at well known dairy, Rosemount, and Juniper Lea before becoming manager of Kooparoona under Rosemount manager James Greenacre’s mentorship. Together with his wife Bec, he is in the process of purchasing a syndicate stake in Kooparoona to become an equity manager.  Kieran lives on-farm with Bec and their daughter.
