Clear Springs
Clear Springs was the first property developed by BWB Management, purchased in 2016. The 530-hectare farm was previously operating as a mixed beef and irrigated cropping farm. Dairy conversion began immediately following settlement, including the construction of a 60-bale rotary dairy, upgrading irrigation systems, pasture improvement, and upgrades to fencing and stock water infrastructure.
The farm now features a 420-hectare milking platform, with 370 hectares of centre pivot–irrigated, improved pasture.
Milking began in 2016 with 900 cows. In 2024, the purchase of an adjacent 130-hectare block enabled expansion, allowing the herd to grow to 1,350 cows. Clear Springs was named Tasmanian Dairy Business of the Year in 2019 and was runner-up in 2025.
